Gravel 1"

1 inch gravel delivered for driveways, drainage and decorative use around Justin, Denton and Fort Worth.
What It Is

A Do-Everything Gravel for Driveways and
Drainage

Gravel 1 inch is crushed stone or river rock screened to about an inch across, used for driveways, drainage lines, decorative beds and general utility fill. It compacts reasonably well and drains freely, which makes it useful anywhere water needs to move through rather than pool.
We keep 1 inch gravel on hand for the same jobs our crews use it on: driveway toppings, drainage trenches and utility fill on excavation sites. It is a solid middle-ground material, heavier and more stable than pea gravel, easier to spread than large rock.

Pricing & Coverage

Gravel 1": Call for Current Pricing

Gravel 1 inch is sold by the cubic yard. One cubic yard covers about 100 square feet spread 3 inches deep, so a driveway or path project usually needs several yards depending on size. Planning to build a driveway or private road? We can supply the base material and handle the grading in the same visit.

Delivery is priced by material and distance. Orders of 5 cubic yards or more within 10 miles of our Justin yard ride free, and most orders go out the same day you call. We also offer discounts for military, educators and service members with valid ID.

Before the truck comes out, clear a path wide enough for a full-size delivery truck and point us to a firm, dry spot to dump. We cannot drive across soft, wet or landscaped areas.

Common Questions

Gravel 1" FAQ

1 inch gravel is crushed stone or river rock screened to about an inch across, small enough to compact for a walkable driveway surface but large enough to resist washing away in normal rain.
One cubic yard covers about 160 square feet at 2 inches deep, 100 square feet at 3 inches, 80 square feet at 4 inches, or 54 square feet at 6 inches. Measure the length and width of your project area, multiply for square footage, then call us with that number and we will help you land on the right amount.
A cubic yard of gravel weighs roughly 2,400 to 2,900 pounds depending on how wet it is, so it is heavy. That is why we deliver it by the truck instead of the bag.
We deliver to Denton, Fort Worth, Krum, Justin, Decatur, Azle, Ponder, Argyle, Flower Mound, Roanoke, Corinth and Haslet.
